I want to tell you about two dreams I had. I believe the dreams are meant to be an encouragement for all of us who belong to The Most High. The dreams were about cakes. On surface, the first dream didn’t seem to mean anything. But I dreamt it again the next day and thankfully remembered both dreams.

In the first dream I dreamt that a bakery baked lots of cakes, possibly hundreds. All of the cakes had pink icing and they were everywhere. I remember wondering how they were going to get rid of these cakes because no-one was coming in to purchase them. Then I woke up.

The second day, I dreamt about the same bakery. This time there were lots and lots of chocolate cakes. There was a concern that the cakes would go stale if not sold in 3 days. Then I heard that the cakes are going on sale for 50 cents. Then the scene switched. I had purchased a cake and was sharing it with my family.

The bakery is symbolic of producing spiritual sustenance for others. So the cakes represent the good and sweet spiritual sustenance produced by the bakery. The color pink represents love and chocolate or brown represents earthly wisdom.

The number 3 represents the Godhead. Selling or a sale represents a blessing from God. And the number 50 represents jubilee or being set free from debt and/or bondage.

I believe the dream was communicating that there is plenty of spiritual sustenance from God in the form of His love and wisdom and strategy that will bless us with debt canceling, bondage releasing blessings. But we are not looking to God and therefore the sustenance available to us is not being used and is going to waste.

I think it was a message to seek Him on our earthly issues and He will provide all that we need. Isaiah 61 says this: He has come to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, to open the prison doors for those who are bound and to set the captives free. Our heavenly Father wants to do this for us even in the mist of everything happening in the world. He has not and will not leave us alone. He has not abandoned us.

We can still receive His abundant love and blessings. All we have to do is turn away from the news, social media, gossip, slander; turn from fear and ask for what we need. “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” (Matthew 6:31-32) He loves us and freely wants to give us His love and wisdom to prosper even in such a time as this.
